The DMA Solutions team provides clinical support, report writing and advice on how Care Treatment Reviews (CTRs) should be carried forward and embedded within local care planning. We consider the impact of the individual’s current living situation and their exposure to health inequality and can advise on how the effects of such exposure can best be mitigated.
We challenge providers to ensure any restrictions on liberty are proportionate and delivered with the context of a lawfully prescribed framework.
We ensure that the CTR is conducted in a way that maximizes the individual’s ability to participate in the process. That the CTR team recognises and seeks to capitalise on the valuable resource that is the knowledge, experience and expertise of family carers.
DMA Solutions Ltd seek to make recommendations regarding short-, medium- and long-term objectives while maintaining a focus on discharge by generating creative solutions when blocks towards progress to discharge are encountered.
We ensure scrutiny and challenge that is truly independent of all key stakeholders in the individual’s care and support. We support the process of feeding back CTR recommendations and associated actions to the individual and their family carers.
DMA Solutions Ltd quality assure the comprehensiveness of CTR documentation and clarity of CTR recommendations.

Care and Treatment Reviews
Transforming Care for People with Learning Disabilities - Next Steps, (Next Steps) (progress report for the Transforming Care delivery Board July 2015) outlined an ambitious programme of system wide change to improve care for people with learning disabilities and/or autism, and behaviour that challenges (learning disabilities).
Care and Treatment Reviews (CTR) have been developed as part of NHS England’s commitment to transforming the services for people with learning disabilities and/ or autism who display
behavior that challenges, including those with a mental health condition.
NHS England has published final CTR policy and guidance (also available in easy read) that outlines what a CTR is, the required standards, and how they should be done.
Debra Moore Associates can offer support and guidance to NHS England, CCG, Fast Track sites, CCG’s, Commissioners, Local Authorities and Providers so that the CTR process ensures people get the Right care, in the Right place, at the Right time.
We have a wide range of associates working with us with the experience; knowledge and skill set to help individuals and organisations meet the new agenda and performance targets.
